JAV-Forum Floating Notification Button

This userscript enhances the navigation experience on jav-forum.com, specifically designed for users who frequently check new replies while browsing long threads.

The Problem

On jav-forum.com, the notification alert (red badge) is located in the top navigation bar. When you are reading the latest post at the bottom of a thread, checking a new notification requires you to:

  1. Scroll all the way back to the top.
  2. Open the menu and click the new link.
  3. This scrolling action forces the browser to load all the images you previously skipped over (due to LazyLoad), wasting bandwidth and time.

The Solution

This script creates a Material Design-style Floating Action Button (FAB) at the bottom right of the screen.

Features:

  • Synchronized Avatar & Badge: The button displays your current avatar and the exact number of unread alerts, synced in real-time with the original navigation bar.
  • Smart Menu Positioning: When you click the floating button, the standard forum menu opens anchored to the bottom right, right above the button.
  • Data Saver: You can check and navigate to new alerts immediately from the bottom of the page without scrolling up, preventing unnecessary image loading.
  • Mobile Friendly: The circular button is easy to reach on mobile devices (thumb zone).

Installation

  1. Install a userscript manager like Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey.
  2. Install this script.
  3. Refresh the forum page. You will see your avatar floating in the bottom right corner.
