These are obviously spam, but has been dismissed by a moderator.

I'm fully convienced that this moderator has a serious problem, and I doubt his intention of dismissing the report. What's more, I think he's incompetent of being a moderator.

I've reported similar spammers just now, and I'll keep an eye on it. It's quite abnormal.

And rude comments like this has also been dismissed by a moderator.

Having a moderator like this does nothing but harm to GreasyFork.

In contrast, this report has been dismissed and this report has been upheld. Wierd, isn't it.

Should we call him "dismisser" rather than "moderator"?

I dismissed the first two reports because the reported user has no activity, no posts, nothing. It looks like the report was made by a mistake, which happens occasionally.

As for rude comments in Chinese, that's probably not me, because I don't know Chinese and so I don't handle such reports.

I think it's not a good idea to do this.

Could you clarify why you think the user is a spammer when the user has no posts and no activity?

Since you don't know Chinese, it's a bit hard to clarify, but I'll try to. "新百胜" in Chinese is a gambling company, and spreads ads everywhere, especially in porn sites. Some time ago, GreasyFork's full of advertisements of this kind. And the numbers like "17008768000" are the phone numbers of the company.

I see. Maybe we can add a detector for such names based on the amount of digits...

Yeah, that's a good idea, but they has many ways to obfuscate their names, making it pretty hard for bots to detecte...

It's helpful when you report to include this kind of information. Some moderators can read Chinese, but others can't.

https://greasyfork.org/en/reports/3848, the Google Translate gives me: "The author has worked hard, and the bad reviews are all brain-dead, don’t bother them". If this is an accurate translation, then it's not abusive.

pretty hard for bots to detect

Then a highly sensitive detector? Let it only collect detected names for the moderators to review, thus avoid the errors it made.

You'd better leave the Chinese reports to the Chinese mods, because google translate won't make you understand the Chinese culture. Explaining Chinese sulting words to you will do nothing but confuse you, because the Chinese culture is much different from yours.

What's more, Chinese tend to use abbreviation rather than full phrase sometimes, there's no way for google translate to recognize it.

I've used the advanced search to find and auto-ban about 200 such user names that started with 新百胜 and contained a telephone number.
