Select stories to download from author page on Literotica - will collect all into simplified HTMLs and download as a .zip (includes support for series), can also sort stories
Hi, I'm a coding neanderthal so I can't figure out why this script works so well for most stories, but on a few it just won't. I've noticed that most of the stories and series it gets buggy with, the formatting is slightly different in some way. For instance, this story: https://www.literotica.com/s/counting-pennies-ch-06#
this chapter (and all the other chapters and all the other series in the saga) starts with a big ol centered line of underscores. So the whole first page just isn't included in the downloaded zip file.
The first page is fine, but there's a line of (again centered) motorcycle emojis used as a section break on the second page. Everything after that line of motorcycles is excluded from the zip file, and it picks up on the next page, then cuts off everything after the next centered line of motorcycles.
The same thing happens with that author's "home for horny monsters" series starting with chapter 46 which is when she started using a centered line of house emojis as a section break. Same issue, everything after the houses cut off til the start of the next page then again cut off after the next line of house emojis.
I've been trying to figure it out but I've got nothing. I think it might have something to do with the < center > < / center > thing, but that's just a guess. I don't know if you even check this anymore, but I figured it was worth a shot. Your script is awesome btw!
