btw. the recordings are encoded in WEBM, can this be changed to make the videos in mp4 format?
from version 1.1.0 it will use MP4 in chrome (firefox only supports Webm)

Thank you for your time and help. However, now the streams freeze after 2 or 3 minutes. This wasn't a problem before. Btw, two weeks ago, showup received a new update, but by then someone else had created a script that worked fine – I could watch the streams through VLC. However, it's stopped working for the past two weeks and probably needs some tweaking. If you could take a look, I'd appreciate it. Maybe you can fix it -> https://gofile.io/d/Fl98XQ
I did some extra testing and found no problems with freezing streams. On showup it stops after 10 minutes when they want you to signup.
the only problem is that the recording won't always stop when the stream stops ( i'm working on it )
did you use avc3 ? for some older pc's this can be a bit too much.
i will take a look at that script, it's a very complicated way to get the playlist and i fear the playlist is just not there anymore
After disabling the script, the streams don't freeze. When I enable it, most streams stop after a few minutes, making recording difficult. I think they could have implemented some good security measures. It's worth looking into.
maybe the bitrate was a bit too high for your computer.
from version 1.1.1 it's using browser default again (2.5 Mb/s), the same as in the old version
(and i don't see a difference in the output quality)

Something's wrong; I can't record in peace. Every few minutes, the stream stops. I don't know why. When I disable the script, the problem doesn't occur as often. :/

site showup.tv has been updated and now script not works. Can you just take a look or is it now harder to get the link to the broadcast to play it in VLC?
