Pawchive Power Tools

Better post browsing. A searchable creator directory.
Content-based creator discovery.

Pawchive Power Tools adds sorting, filtering, and a redesigned creator
finder directly to Pawchive. Find creators by name, or discover them
through words and phrases in their post titles, content, and available
post comments. Choose exactly which pages to search with a two-handle
range control.

This listing describes Power Tools v1.2.0.
It is a browsing and discovery userscript, not the separate Pawchive
Fast Downloader. It does not download collections, create ZIP files,
recover archive passwords, or bypass access restrictions.

Sort by date created or attachment count,
in ascending or descending order.
Choose a batch size:
site default (50), 100, or 200 posts, subject to available results.
Filter sources:
Patreon, Discord, and Pixiv Fanbox.
Include or exclude words and quoted phrases.
Included terms support Match all or Match any.
Filter archive attachments:
All posts, With archive files, or Without archive files.
Search Pawchive from the panel,
then refine the loaded results with the local filters.

Sorting and include/exclude filtering apply to the
loaded result batch, not the entire website.
Text filtering on post listings inspects the loaded cards;
use creator content discovery for dedicated post-body or comment searches.

Archive filtering checks the main file and attachment metadata for
recognized extensions, including ZIP, RAR, and 7Z. It does not guess
from a post title. Unverified posts are hidden while an archive filter
is active until metadata can be checked. Recognizing an archive does
not confirm that the file is available, complete, or password-free.

A redesigned creator finder

Search the creator index by name, public ID, or creator ID;
exclude unwanted terms.
Filter by source and choose 50, 100, or 200 creators per page.
Sort by popularity, name, date updated, date indexed, or service.
Browse clearer creator cards with service labels, useful metadata,
and direct profile links.
Use a responsive dark interface with keyboard-focus indicators
and reduced-motion support.

Discover creators by posts and comments

Open Discover by posts & comments on the artists
page. Enter words or quoted phrases, then choose where to look:

Title + content — search across a post's title and
body. A term may occur in either field; it does not have to appear
in both.
Titles only
Content only
Post comments only
Title + content + comments

Match any term accepts a post containing at least one
search term. Match all terms requires all terms within
the same post, across the selected fields. Terms found in separate
posts are not combined into an ALL match. Quotes keep a phrase together.

Example:
landscape watercolor "step by step".
Use Match any for broader discovery, or Match all to narrow the results.

Fast site search uses Pawchive's search index to find
candidates, then verifies available text.
Scan filtered creators searches the selected creators'
post lists directly. Comment searches and terms shorter than three
characters automatically use creator scanning. Missing post bodies
are requested only when needed.

Choose the first 25, first 100, or all filtered creators when scanning.
The creator sort order determines the scan order. Each creator's scan
stops at its first matching post. Results include a matching-post link
and a text snippet so you can inspect the evidence.

Comments means comments available under the creator's posts,
not private messages and not exclusively comments written by that creator.

Filter by the beginning of an artist's name

All names
0–9 — ASCII digits.
A–Z — all English letters, or an individual letter;
case-insensitive.
Other — names beginning outside ASCII A–Z and 0–9,
including Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Chinese, accented letters,
symbols, emoji, and unnamed creators.

Leading whitespace is ignored. Other is a first-character grouping,
not a language detector. This filter narrows the creator list
immediately and also applies to candidates when a content search starts.

Choose an exact page range

Move the two slider handles or type the From page
and Through page numbers.
Both endpoints are included:
3–8 searches pages 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.

Page numbers are one-based. A search/list page represents 50 posts.
Load current last pages reads the site's pagination
for the selected queries or creators.
The slider uses the largest detected last page;
shorter lists stop earlier.
Through current last page refreshes the endpoints
when a search starts and uses each list's current last page.
The scale is provisional until last-page information has been loaded.
Reload the bounds after changing terms or creator filters.

The default range is pages 1–5. Larger ranges and comment searches
can take significantly longer. A result set is only as complete as
its selected coverage and the data Pawchive makes available.

No match within a limited scan is not proof that the creator
has no matching posts.

Install and get started

Install a userscript manager supported by your browser.
Use this listing's install button and confirm installation
in your userscript manager.
Reload a supported Pawchive page. Use Post tools on post listings
or the creator finder on the artists page.
For content discovery, start with a small page range,
choose your fields and terms, and select
Find matching creators.
Keep the tab open while a scan runs.
Use Stop to cancel;
use Clear content results to return to
ordinary creator browsing.

Performance, privacy, and limitations

Creator-name filtering is local after the initial creator-index load.
Content scans make additional Pawchive requests, with pacing,
bounded concurrency, and retries for temporary failures.
Performance depends on the site, connection, selected range,
and browser.
Preferences are saved in browser local storage on Pawchive.
With @grant none, this is site-origin storage,
not a private userscript-manager vault. Pawchive receives the
requests and search terms needed to provide results.
The script adds no advertising or analytics and loads no remote
JavaScript libraries. The underlying website and screenshot host
have their own policies.
Only text and comments available on Pawchive can be searched.
Search-index omissions, deleted posts, failed requests, and
changing pagination may affect coverage.
No specific Firefox, Waterfox, Chromium, or userscript-manager
combination is claimed as fully verified by this description.
Report reproducible compatibility issues.

Troubleshooting and feedback

If the panel does not appear, confirm that the script is enabled
and reload the page. If creator loading fails, try again after checking
whether Pawchive itself is available. If content discovery produces
no results, check the source, name-initial, term-match, creator-count,
and page-range settings. For archive filtering, try
All posts to distinguish unavailable metadata
from an ordinary no-match result.

When reporting a bug, include the script version, browser and
userscript-manager versions, relevant filter settings, expected
behavior, and the exact error text. Use a sanitized example URL
and an SFW screenshot where possible.

Do not share cookies, authentication details, or private information.
