This is a script to enhance the capabilities, and update the UI, of the chat room at chat.guro.cx.

(It might become generalized in the future to enhance other Comchat-based chat rooms.)

This userscript provides (via a UI hosted currently hosted at chatproxy.chat):

  • Image pasting
  • Drag-and-drop file uploading
  • Direct messaging with other chat participants
  • In-chat image preview thumbnails
  • Multiple light and dark color themes
  • WYSIWYG text entry instead of having to use BBCode
  • ...and more.
