Chat Cleaner

Cleans up Chaturbate chat: hides system rows and non-tip notices, keeps messages and tip notices, adds timestamps, and logs removed items in a movable "Show Deleted" panel opened from the chat input.

Chat Cleaner — CB

Client-side chat cleaner and log viewer for Chaturbate.

What it does

  • Hides non-chat rows (system messages, “New” dividers, layout noise).
  • Keeps normal chat messages and tip notices only.
  • Shows a compact timestamp pill to the left of each username / tip notice.
  • Collapses .isTip notices so they sit neatly inline with chat.
  • Logs everything that gets removed into a floating “Deleted elements” panel.
  • The panel is opened via a small Show Deleted (N) button placed next to the chat send button.
  • Panel is movable, resizable, and uses a glass-style UI.
  • From the panel you can:
    • Scroll through a list of removed entries with timestamps.
    • Export the log as JSON.
    • Clear the log.
    • Close the panel; reopen it any time from the inline button.

Installation

  1. Install a userscript manager (e.g. Tampermonkey) in your browser.
  2. Create a new script.
  3. Paste the full script from this repository into the editor.
  4. Save the script.
  5. Open any Chaturbate room; the script will run automatically.

Usage

  • Chat is cleaned up automatically:
    • System rows like “New” and visual dividers are removed.
    • Non-tip room notices are removed.
    • Regular messages and tip notices stay.
  • A time pill like [12:34:56] is shown to the left of usernames and inside tip notices.
  • A Show Deleted (N) button appears in the chat input area, to the right:
    • Click to open/close the “Deleted elements” panel.
    • The panel appears above the button when there is space, otherwise below.
    • Drag the header to reposition.
    • Resize from the bottom/right edges.

Notes

  • This is a purely client-side visual helper; it does not send data anywhere.
  • It targets the current Chaturbate DOM structure; if CB changes their layout, the script may need updates.
  • Designed for desktop layout; mobile views may behave differently.
