Block popups from window.open/about:blank, target=_blank (links/forms/area), base target, and synthetic clicks
This script blocks almost all pop-ups, popunders, and automatic new tabs that appear when accidentally clicking ads or hidden elements on a webpage. It intercepts window.open calls, removes malicious onclick functions, forces all links to open in the same tab, and prevents unwanted redirects using location.assign or replace. It also monitors dynamically loaded content and disables popup behavior inside iframes. A customizable whitelist allows specific domains to open new tabs if needed. This script can block around 90–95% of unwanted pop-ups, creating a cleaner and safer browsing experience.
