What it does

By default, Rule34.xxx uses a light theme. If you prefer a dark theme, you typically have to be logged in or manually set a cookie that gets cleared in incognito mode or when you clear your browser data. This can be annoying.

This script solves that problem by ensuring the Dark Mode setting is always active, without requiring you to log in or reload the page. It's a simple "set it and forget it" solution for a more comfortable viewing experience.

Installation Instructions

  3. Confirm installation: A new tab will open in your script manager showing the code. Just click the "Install" button.

  4. Done! That's it. Go to Rule34.xxx and the site will now always be in dark mode.

Notes

How to make it work in Incognito Mode? To enable the script in private/incognito windows, you need to give your script manager permission:

  • Chrome/Edge: Go to Extensions, find Tampermonkey, click Details, and turn on the "Allow in Incognito" switch.
  • Firefox: Go to Add-ons and Themes, find Tampermonkey, click the ... menu, select Manage, and next to "Run in Private Windows", select "Allow".
