If the thumbnails won't animate it's most likely a network problem (on your side , chaturbates site or even the models cam is not working properly)
If you go to a cam and open the tab "more rooms like this" the thumbnails should also animate ( without the help of the script and without being a supporter) if they also fail you know it's a network error.
An other way to check it (firefox) , go to a thumbnail page , right click > inspect element > network.
Put your mouse on a thumbnail and you will see a fast moving list of network requests.
They should all end with "200 ok"
if it's not 200 you have a network problem ( and tell me the number you get so i have some more info )
Followed your suggestion to check Firefox's network monitor-- each attempt times out with a notice "the connection used to fetch the resource is not secure" and no number displayed under the status field. I've tried everything I can think of so far, yet the only thing that fixes it is connecting to the VPN (network monitor shows the proper behavior on thumb mouseover). Something is still getting blocked from my end even though I've literally opened up everything. I don't even have to change anything for it to work via VPN so changes to router, browser, and security settings make no difference. I've never been so stumped by something like this. I know I could just connect to the VPN when I want to browse CB but it's the principle of the matter.
a strange error but i doubt if it got something to do with the script (or other people should come with the same problem)
It could be something in your virus protection or add blocker (or maybe even some strange region ban)
the static pictures are served from "https://roomimg.stream.highwebmedia.com" while the moving pictures are from "https://cbjpeg.stream.highwebmedia.com/" and it looks like that second domain is not working for you.
(try to open them in your browser, they both should come with the text "cbjpegstream" and no warning)
First off, I just wanted to thank you for these scripts. I've been using them for years, keep up the good work :)
I also wanted to give some feedback on the hover-over previews. They seem to work off and on, but lately have not worked unless... I connect to a VPN. Makes me wonder if it's ISP throttling or from CB's end, or just something else altogether (perhaps not related to your script). Today they worked briefly without the VPN, then stopped again. Tried all the usual stuff, cleared cookies/cache, etc to no avail. Hope this info helps. Thanks again!
For reference: I use Firefox and Edge-Chromium and same thing on both.
