A desktop userscript for EH / EX readers with screen fitting, in-page navigation, configurable preloading and page-number jumps. Supports single-page readers and the native MPV reader, with an English / Chinese interface.
Fit the whole image inside the available reading area while preserving its aspect ratio. Switch to Fit width for long strips that you want to scroll vertically.
Image sizing adjusts when the window or fullscreen state changes.
With In-page navigation enabled, previous / next controls, supported native page links and page-number jumps update the current reader.
Fullscreen stays active while changing pages.
Click the left half of a fitted page image to return to the previous page. Clicking the left half of the first page keeps you on that page.
This feature is enabled by default and has its own setting. The right half retains the original image link’s behavior.
Choose how many pages to preload ahead: 0–20, with 3 as the default. Set it to 0 to disable preloading.
Images are loaded and decoded ahead of navigation. MPV uses the site’s existing image loader.
Background preloading is limited to two concurrent jobs. A preload failure stops further queued jobs in that batch, while manual navigation remains available.
Enter a page number and press Enter or click Jump.
The single-page reader locates distant pages through the gallery’s thumbnail lists when necessary.
In-page navigation keeps page turns within one reader history entry. Press the browser’s Back button once, or click Gallery, to return to the gallery details page.
A gallery history entry is also prepared when opening a reader link directly.
Enable a black reading background, allow small images to upscale, and change the margin around the image.
Disable fit restores the site’s layout and image sizing and stops the script’s preload queue.
Switch languages from the first row of Settings. Buttons, settings, status messages and userscript menu commands update together.
The language choice is remembered across supported sites and reader modes.

Reading settings are stored separately for each site and reader mode. The language preference is shared across them.

Generic mode supports image fitting, fullscreen and navigation among images already loaded in that area. Network preloading, EH-style in-page replacement and gallery-return behavior require a site-specific adapter.
nhentai.net is excluded from this script.
Version 2.1.0 reduces repeated work in MPV:
In a local 300-page MPV test, a burst of 100 scroll events reduced page-position reads from 30,300 to 11, with both versions locating the same page.
This measures layout work in the test reader. Live results also depend on the browser, page structure and image sizes.
For a manual update, replace the code in the existing userscript entry and save it to retain its stored preferences.
The script has no external library dependencies or analytics.
Navigation and preloading request the current gallery’s reader pages, thumbnail lists and images as needed, using your existing site session. Preferences are stored in your userscript manager.
Local checks covered image sizing, navigation, preloading, error recovery, language persistence, fullscreen retention and returning to the gallery with one Back action.
