Enhances e621 with keyboard shortcuts for voting, favoriting, and navigation. Features auto-skip for blacklisted content, improved pool navigation, and smart behavior that disables shortcuts when typing or using video player.

e621 Enhanced Navigation & Shortcuts

A user script that adds convenient keyboard shortcuts and quality-of-life improvements to e621.

Features

Keyboard Shortcuts

Post Interaction:

  • U: Upvote current post
  • Shift+U: Downvote current post
  • L: Upvote and favorite current post ("like")
  • Shift+L: Like current post and jump to next image

Search Filtering:

  • I: Toggle exclusion of already favorited/liked posts from search results
  • Shift+I: Toggle to show only favorited images from current search query

Navigation:

  • ←/→: Navigate between posts (works alongside native A/D navigation)
  • P: Pause auto-skip when landing on a post with blocked tags

Auto-Skip Blacklisted Content

  • Automatically skips posts containing tags you've blacklisted
  • Waits 3 seconds before moving to the next post
  • Can be paused with the P key if you want to view a post despite blocked tags

Smart Behavior

  • Shortcuts are disabled when typing in text fields or using the video player
  • Exception: Alt+←/→ will still allow post navigation even when focused on other elements
  • Script waits for the page to fully load before activating

Pool Navigation Improvements

  • Pool links open in new tabs instead of the current tab (preserves your search results)
  • Added clickable link to easily copy pool IDs

Installation

  1. Install a userscript manager like Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey
  2. Install this script
  3. Visit e621 and enjoy the enhanced functionality!

Notes

  • The script is entirely self-contained with no external dependencies
  • Future updates may include customizable options for delay times and key remapping
