On 10 Nov 2015, the original author said that the license is Creative Commons, Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

In the gist the author repeatedly says they don't care for small, non-commercial or credited use. 2. Author finding and NOT minding copies of their script on GreasyFork, including not reporting or taking down the unaccredited one (the author of uncredited copy later says they added credit): https://gist.github.com/BrockA/2625891#gistcomment-1623431 3. The author saying they wouldn't mind commercial use under 20k users: https://gist.github.com/BrockA/2625891#gistcomment-2996553 4. The author saying they don't mind forks: https://gist.github.com/BrockA/2625891#gistcomment-3282377 5. The last comment is in reply to a link to a fork that doesn't include the CC license in code or a LICENSE file, it only links to the original BrockA script. My scripts are non-commercial, small (under 300 installs each) and links to the author's original. The author clearly didn't mind this kind of use (non-commercial or small commercial, with attribution) when learning of it in the past. The author themself point out hundreds of people forked their script and doesn't mind that despite the attribution being same or smaller than attribution I provide in my scripts. This report is most likely not the author's and doesn't reflect their wishes as stated in their gist comments.
