Lightweight reader with a compact collapsible toolbar, width slider, in-page navigation and native WebP display. English / Chinese interface.
Version 3.5.0 · Lightweight reader · MIT
The image uses the full window width and height. The site's upper and lower navigation bars are hidden while the reader is enabled.
The toolbar sits in the bottom-right corner by default. Its four navigation buttons use icons: first page, previous page, next page and last page. The current page and total appear between them. Click the page count to enter a page number.
The menu button opens file information and reading settings above the toolbar. Click it again, press Escape in the menu, or click outside to close it. Opening the menu does not resize the image.
The leftmost toolbar button collapses everything to one small icon. Click that icon to restore the basic toolbar. Image click navigation remains available in all three states. Bottom-center positioning is also available in the menu; position and collapse preferences are saved.
Choose Fit page, Fit width or Manual width. The width slider ranges from 10% to 100% of the reading area's available width. Moving it selects Manual width automatically. Long images scroll vertically. Display mode, width, margins and small-image enlargement are saved.
Use the toolbar, keyboard left/right arrows or image click regions. Clicking the left half returns to the previous page; the right half follows the next-page link. In-page navigation keeps a single reader history entry, allowing one browser Back action to return to the gallery when entering from it.
Preload 0–20 following pages, with 3 as the default. Ordinary images use up to two background loading tasks; a current WebP page uses one. Set 0 to disable preloading. MPV uses the site's page-loading interface.
Images remain native browser images, including animated WebP. The reader fits the image as soon as dimensions are available and does not wait for animated WebP's decode() promise before displaying the target page. During an uncached transition, a temporary previous-page preview remains until the new image loads. Animation playback uses the browser's native decoder.
English and Chinese controls are included. The reader runs only on E-Hentai and ExHentai single-page and MPV reading pages. Replace the existing Better Ehentai Interface userscript and save; existing reading preferences are retained. Enable one reader edition at a time. Disable fit restores the original site layout.
