Would it not be possible to change the options on the violentmonkey window in the page with with embed gif? Having to switch to an ifr page to change things when the window is right there is such a hassle.

No, it still shows the script and its options on the violentmonkey menu, but clicking on any of the options does nothing on the embed gif page. Options will only change on the ifr page.

I probably didn’t explain it well. I didn’t add a UI on the page to change the settings, since that would just bloat the code and make the logic more complex. Instead, the options can be changed directly in the Violentmonkey/Tampermonkey menu on the main page, without needing to open the iframe page.

As for the options only changing inside the iframe, I just tested and it’s working fine here. You might want to try removing the script and reinstalling it instead of just updating. Here’s a quick example: https://i.imgur.com/qe0gC27.mp4

It has started to work after updating, thank you! I don't know why it didn't update on its own
