The script should remove the visual element if the user is not found.
This was actually the behavior of earlier versions (up to 2.8.2), but it was confusing for some users, as they thought the script had failed to load. I'd prefer to keep the behavior as it is currently.
The script should allow for dismissing the visual element.
I just published version 2.17.0, which adds a close button to the pop-up, allowing you to temporarily dismiss it. Greasy Fork should import the update within a few hours.
Leaving comments on the support site is impossible since registrations are disabled.
That's something I'm aware of, and I am currently looking for solutions (as my setup is somewhat unconventional), but I haven't found a fully satisfying one yet. Until then, posting feedback here is perfectly fine :)
