FetLife Suite - Home Feed

Rebuilds the FetLife home feed as a responsive masonry grid (1 to 4 columns by screen width), with larger round avatars, rounded cards, a sticky header and a full-width layout. Adds a filter pill bar (All, Pics, Vids, Text, Writings, AMA, Audio, For You), a floating back-to-top button, and scroll-position memory. Cards are moved not cloned, so Love, Superlove and Comment still work and infinite scroll stays intact.

FetLife Suite - Home Feed

A lightweight, style-only userscript that rebuilds the FetLife home feed into a responsive masonry layout and adds a few quality-of-life touches. It only restyles and rearranges what FetLife already renders. It makes no network requests, collects no data, and touches nothing outside the page you are on.

What it does

  • Responsive masonry grid. The single-column feed becomes a Pinterest-style grid that adapts to your screen: 1 column on phones, 2 on tablets, 3 on desktop, and 4 on very wide or 4K displays. It re-flows automatically when you resize the window.
  • Cleaner cards. Larger round avatars, rounded card corners, rounded media, a sticky header that stays put as you scroll, and a full-width layout that uses the whole screen instead of a narrow central column. Sidebars are hidden on mobile so posts get the full width.
  • Filter pill bar. A compact row of pills above the feed (All, Pics, Vids, Text, Writings, AMA, Audio, For You) for one-tap switching between feed types. On mobile it scrolls sideways and keeps the active pill in view.
  • Back-to-top button. A floating button appears once you have scrolled down and smooth-scrolls you back to the top.
  • Scroll-position memory. Open a post, then press back, and the feed returns you to exactly where you were instead of jumping to the top.

Why it stays reliable

Cards are moved into the grid rather than copied, so FetLife's own Love, Superlove and Comment buttons keep working normally and infinite scroll keeps loading as you go. The styling adapts to both the dark and light FetLife themes.

Requirements

  • A userscript manager such as Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey.
  • A desktop or mobile browser that supports userscripts.

Privacy

Style only. No tracking, no external calls, no accounts. The only thing it stores is a single scroll position, kept in your browser's own session storage for the current tab.
