kurosearch Studio

A userscript that turns kurosearch.com into a more flexible interface for searching and viewing Rule34 posts. The interface can be switched between English and Russian; the selected language and settings are saved in your browser.

Features

  • Tag search with suggestions and include, exclude, and “any of” modes.
  • Feed or grid results, sorting, and media-type filters.
  • Automatic tag hiding, required tags, and an option to hide narrow comics.
  • Favorite tags and a “For you” feed informed by favorites and viewed posts.
  • Fullscreen viewer with navigation, an up-next list, and video previews.

Installation

Install a userscript manager such as Tampermonkey or Violentmonkey, then install the script from its Sleazy Fork page. Open kurosearch.com and confirm the age notice to begin searching.

Data and privacy

Settings, favorite tags, and the local viewing profile are stored in the browser's localStorage. Search and autocomplete use kurosearch.com and the public API services listed in the script; favorites may influence the search queries used by the “For you” feed. The script does not send a separate viewing-profile payload.
