Thanks!
Though I see that you are using the script in a scenario for which it was well not intended or optimized for.
The validation thing can be implemented but in my opinion its too much work to validate something which can be validated by just hovering over the tag pill in the page. My Firefox shows the tag value needed in the corner. Even Chrome shows it though it URL encodes it, like colon is shown as %3A
.
For this to happen, the blacklist control will have to be changed fundamentally to a table or a list of small tiles. Another input will be used to add a new tag which will check and show an error on entry.
You are correct in that conjecture, the more tags in the blacklist, the longer it takes but it should not really be a problem that takes many seconds to work out. You might try to give me your list so I can test.
Though still as I iterated before, the script is not written to have hundreds of tags getting processed per page.
Hello there. I would like to have a feature to this, if possible: Is it possible to validate a tag filter in the blacklist section of the script, like when i want to input a tag or an artist to a blacklist, there should be like a tag result database from Hitomi itself to reference, and from there knowing if the tag is correct or not, or if a tag is "non-existent", there should be red markings on it so it can be removed.
At the same time, i want to ask if when a tag is blacklisted, does it takes longer to remove when there are too many tags input in it? I have over 600 artists in which i blacklisted, and at times i still see them whenever i search for something, i wonder if it will take time for the blacklist to work.
Overall, i would love to thank you for your project, as it has helped me a lot since Hitomi doesn't give any result overall after around ~500 tags are added to the search function in it, and your project is the best option for such. Truly grateful for your help.
