Failed loading detection at every page?

Does failed detection always apply to every page or it reloads failed page only when it's necessary? I found it seemed to try reloading on any page. In my browsing history, It looked like:

Would you delay a few seconds before detection applies to?

It reloads only not loaded images, not any.
It waits 2 seconds and if image hasn't even started loading - it reloads it.

Can I change reloading delay from 2 secs to 4 secs like this?

Did this problem happen on Chrome or only Firefox?

I find it's not relevant to reloading delay. Even though I set 4s, 5s or 10s, this issue still happened from time to time. Waiting other Firefox user's feedback.

Yes, just change every 2000 to whatever you'd like (4000)

I'm using Chrome to browse galleries and haven't encountered your problem, no reports from other firefox users yet.
