Does it still "cut" the first and last words ?
Can you tell me on which System, browser ( and version please) ?
It's still dropping the first and last characters of the url.

Gives me a broken link.
The link it is trying to display is cut short for me. the h of https, and the g in .jpg are missing. if i enter them manually it works, however this causes a broken image to display onscreen.
For example right clicking the broken jpg gets me to this link (user profile ID removed for privacy)

As you can see, it's trimmed. that is a direct copy past from my URL bar.
