Dear Moderator, I would like to clarify the situation regarding the complaint filed against my script "Survev.IO-KrityHack": 1. Regarding the source code of Survev.io: - The game’s source code is not obfuscated, only minified, which is a significant difference. Minification reduces file size but does not serve as a protective measure. - The game lacks any anti-cheat system that my script is alleged to bypass. 2. About my script: - My script is designed to improve user experience by automating certain actions and does not circumvent any protection measures. - The URL https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/drino955/survev-krityhack/survev/app.js is used solely for injecting my script. I did not decompile or deobfuscate the game’s code. I merely added a few custom variables for my script’s functionality. - Moreover, Survev.io’s code is a fork of an open-source project, hosted on GitHub (https://github.com/leia-uwu/survev) under the GPL-3.0 license. This license mandates that forks of the project remain open-source, but Survev.io violates this requirement by keeping its code closed. 3. User rights under the GPL-3.0 license: - The GPL-3.0 license explicitly prohibits restricting users’ rights to use, modify, and distribute the software. My script fully complies with these principles, and attempts to remove it infringe upon my rights under this license. 4. The true copyright holder: - Both Survev.io and the original surviv.io are based on code previously owned by Kongregate, which acquired surviv.io in 2019 and shut it down in 2022. Survev.io is essentially a clone of surviv.io, including its client code, textures, and emojis. This raises concerns that the real copyright holder, Kongregate, might take legal action against Survev.io for copyright infringement. 5. Conclusion: - I believe the complaint is baseless and misleading, as it distorts the facts about the alleged protection measures and the origins of the code. It is clear that this is an attempt to intimidate and mislead me. I kindly ask you to review the evidence I have presented. I am willing to provide additional clarification or proof if necessary. Best regards, KrityTeam
