Save named tag presets and combine them on the fly — auto-append your active preset(s) to every Gelbooru search.
Tired of typing the same tags on every search? This script lets you save named tag presets and automatically appends them to your Gelbooru searches. Mix and match presets to build the exact tag combination you want, without re-typing — works with both the search bar and direct URL navigation.
Features
- Tag presets — save named groups of tags (e.g. "Glasses look" with
glasses sort:score, or "Short hair set" withshort_hair swirly_eyes)- Solo or combine — click a preset to use only it, or use the checkbox to stack multiple presets together. Build small focused presets and mix them however you want
- One-click switching — pick a preset from the panel and it instantly applies to your current search
- Smart tag swapping — switching presets cleanly removes the previous combination's tags before adding the new ones, so you don't end up with stale tags piling up
- Toggle on/off — quick switch in the corner to disable auto-tagging without losing your presets
- Minimal UI — small pill in the bottom-right corner, expands to a full preset manager when you need it
- Preserves manual tags — only auto-applied tags get cleaned up; anything you typed yourself stays put
- Sort directive aware — won't add
sort:scoreif you've already specified a different sort (e.g.sort:rating)How to use
- Install the script, then visit Gelbooru — a small pill appears in the bottom-right corner
- Click the gear icon to open the preset manager
- Click "+ New preset", give it a name, add your tags, save
- Click a preset row to use only that preset, or click its checkbox to add it on top of whatever's already active
- Use the toggle on the pill to enable/disable auto-tagging at any time
Tags should use exact Gelbooru syntax — underscores instead of spaces (e.g.
blue_hair, notblue hair).Example
Say you have three small presets: "Glasses" (
glasses), "Short hair" (short_hair), and "Score sort" (sort:score).
- Click "Glasses" to search any character + glasses
- Check "Score sort" too to get glasses + sorted by score
- Uncheck "Glasses" and check "Short hair" to swap looks without touching the sort
No need to make a fourth preset for every combination.
