Pawchive Nav Fix

If you experience issues on this website caused by other scripts or extensions, you can use this script to resolve them.

The script makes sure existing page content isn't unexpectedly cleared during in-site navigation, so that styling added by other scripts keeps working without requiring you to manually reload the page.

What This Fixes

If you use other UserScripts on pawchive that add floating UI elements — such as hover-to-preview images or side panels — you may run into the following:

  • After navigating within the site (the URL changes but the page doesn't fully reload), some floating UI elements start rendering incorrectly. For example, an image preview that should appear near your cursor instead jumps to a corner of the screen.
  • Buttons or panels from other scripts suddenly appear in the wrong place, with broken positioning or styling.
  • The only fix is a full page reload, but the issue comes back after the next in-site navigation.

This script quietly prevents that from happening in the background. No configuration needed.

Compatibility

Browser Status
Chrome Confirmed effective
Edge Confirmed effective
Firefox Installable, symptoms are usually not observed there, but installing it causes no side effects

If you only browse pawchive without any other scripts that create floating UI elements, you likely won't encounter the issue this script addresses — but installing it is still safe and won't affect the site's appearance or functionality.
